A customizable learning solution
Learning Pathways has been a good solution for enterprises looking to train end users in Microsoft 365 ecosystem of apps and functionalities, it can be consumed from SharePoint Online and Teams, the installation requires the PnP.PowerShell module to set up the required components, a SharePoint Online app catalog enabled in the tenant and a Site Collection to be defined as “learning site”, among other things.
Its content (which, in fact, is a set of JSON metadata pointing to learning assets hosted on support.office.com) hadn’t been updated in two years, until a couple of days ago, with the following change log
Content Update September 2025
This release included a large content update. It included new content regarding Copilot as well as some other technologies. In addition, there were many issues with broken links or missing content especially in the non-English lanagues. This has been addressed in this release.New content for Microsoft 365 Copilot

Fixing broken content links in all languages
Updates to all page titles and descriptions to better align with page content.
Ensured alignment between English Playlists and other languages.

To force an update of the content, it only requires opening the Learning Pathway’s admin page, once updated, we can see the options for the updated content:

Copilot content is the one getting the most content, for example includes a lot of “Get started Copilot in…” for each application where you can consume Copilot.
A positive update
The GitHub repository statistics for Learning Pathways show that it’s a widely adopted solution for delivering training materials within organizations. Keeping the content fresh and up to date significantly enhances its value for users. This latest update is a welcome change, let’s see what the future holds for it.
